A piece of my heart
Born and brought up in Paris, I moved to London with my husband in 1991.
I am a food stylist and recipe writer and, since 2009, a therapist. The loss of my parents and two sisters through cancer was my motivation for embarking on this journey. As part of my holistic massage diploma I spent a year volunteering at Guy’s hospital for the Dimbleby Cancer Care which brought me closer to the work of reflexologists on oncology wards. Since 2011, with a reflexology diploma in hand from The London School of Reflexology and keen to help and support cancer patients and their loved ones, I have specialized in that field.
Additional training in Christies Hospital integrative therapy workshops included clinical reflexology, lymph drainage reflexology techniques and reflex therapy for spinal pain.
After completing a diploma of Indian Head Massage and Reiki I & II at Quantum Metta, I had the great privilege of being trained by Jan Williamson in Precision Reflexology.
This gentle and intuitive technique works on the subtle inner energy of the body and is particularly helpful for emotional issues. It has transformed the way I work.
In July 2017, I joined Complementary Support Team Uk, a team of over 80 therapists set up by Jane Lawson to help the Grenfell survivors.
In 2019, as part of my ongoing development, I trained as an Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner with one of the EFT Founding Masters, Tania A. Prince. This gentle form of “energy psychology” addresses traumas, bereavements, phobias, illness and pain.
I am a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR), EFT international and the Complementary and Natural Helthcare Council (CNHC). I am fully insured and adhere to the code of conduct and ethics of my professional body.
